Following a relaxing massage treatment you may experience some of the following symptoms:
Feeling sleepy, fatigued or deeply relaxed
Stuffy, blocked or runny nose
Hightened emotions (high or low)
Deeper sleep than usual
As we are all different, we may experience different symptoms, if any. These symptoms should be short lived and are a sign that the massage treatment is working.
Following a massage it is advisable to do the following:
Drink plenty of water, this will assist your body in flushing out the toxins that massage has released
Rest as much as possible, if you feel tired don't fight it!
Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
